“Moody” is how April is often called in Germany. Contrasting weather conditions often alternate in a colorful sequence. Isolated weak night frosts, snow, hail and sleet showers are just as possible as bright sunshine and higher temperatures above 20 degrees. But all in all, spring is beginning everywhere. Even in the cooler regions in the north-east and in the low mountain ranges, the first green is now appearing.
