Summer toboggan run in the Alpincenter Bottrop
The Alpincenter Bottrop has both an indoor and an outdoor area and, above all, offers fans of alpine action a huge playground.
The portfolio not only includes a ski hall and a paintball area, but also one of the most relaxed summer toboggan runs in North Rhine-Westphalia. It doesn’t always have to be the wildest roller coaster that makes your heart ache with brute speed.
The summer toboggan run in the Alpincenter presses you into your seat solely through centrifugal force. The toboggan run is rail-guided and therefore particularly weatherproof.
As you whiz down the piste at up to 42 km/h, you will drive through steep curves, a 360 °C roundabout and even a tunnel.
You either drive alone or together with your child. You overcome a height difference of 80 meters.
Ski fans should also make a note of the Alpincenter: numerous visitors come to North Rhine-Westphalia near Recklinghausen not only because of the summer toboggan run, but above all because of the 640 meter long indoor ski slope. Altitude fans can work out in the high ropes course.

Summer toboggan run in the Ibbenbüren amusement park
At first glance, the small amusement park in Ibbenbüren, with its fairy tale theme, may seem to be tailored to a very young target audience.
Nevertheless, a real relic with cult status awaits all visitors: the oldest surviving summer toboggan run in all of Germany.
The summer toboggan run has been in Ibbenbühren since 1926. In fact, a downhill ride comes astonishingly close to a sleigh ride in winter.
You don’t toboggan down the slope with modern bobsleds, but with rustic wooden sleds.
The toboggan run even enjoys real cult status.
In direct comparison with modern summer toboggan runs, it appears relatively tame and has no turbulent roundabouts or steep curves. A descent is a real bargain for that.
This makes the summer toboggan run particularly suitable for occasional tobogganists who just want to remember the fun feeling of a downhill run.
And because the descent was so fun, you might remember it again straight away. And hey presto, you’re no longer a casual tobogganist.
Opening hours: Tue-Thu 2pm-6pm, Sat-Sun 10am-6pm
Address: Münsterstr. 265, 49479 Ibbenbueren
Price per trip: €0.50

The summer toboggan run in Mechernich-Kommer is particularly popular in the budget and family-friendly adventure park.
With a total length of 680 meters, it is certainly one of the smaller summer toboggan runs in NRW, but it is no less fun than the particularly long ones.
Several 90° bends will give you a good shake while you toboggan past the other popular leisure activities of the adventure park on the classic bob run.
It goes past the terrace of the restaurant, past the concentrated players on the minigolf course to the facility, which automatically transports you back to the starting point of the summer toboggan run.
Groups of 10 or more can even let the summer toboggan run team in the Eifel take their time.
The quad slope is fast and motorized, while you and your family can retreat to the indoor playground in bad weather.

The age classification should be kept very generous. Anyone who identifies with the guiding principles of motor development and the basic principle of free play will find fun in the adventure park in North Rhine-Westphalia with a summer toboggan run and a huge slide system.
First of all, there are no motorized vehicles in the most relaxed children’s amusement park in Germany. If you want to compete with your friends, you have to pedal your car yourself. Most kids don’t mind that at all.
On the contrary, the imagination is stimulated, the natural urge to move is satisfied, without judging the children’s play in an overly instructive manner.
But you’ll also get your money’s worth when you and your children blast down one of the numerous giant slides.
You have the choice between water slides, carpet slides, tube slides and even a summer toboggan run.

Summer toboggan run in the Erlebnisberg Kappe in Winterberg
Some might think that in the Sauerland you can only go hiking and cycling. Apart from the fact that these two activities make every active vacationer happy, the prejudice, as is so often the case, is not correct.
In the Erlebnisberg Kappe you can let off steam in the climbing forest, enjoy an amazing view on the adventure bridge or go tobogganing in the summer.
The summer toboggan run in Winterberg takes you 700 meters past adventure playgrounds, high treetops and a shaky climbing bridge.
The weatherproof summer toboggan run in the Sauerland not only takes you through tight curves, but also over bridges and jumps.
However, the adventure park does not see itself as a pure toboggan run, but as a huge discovery zone for active fun in your free time in Germany.
A rugged mountain bike route demands perfect control of your bike and the high ropes course is challenging even for adults with a head for heights.
From the so-called adventure bridge you have a great view over the hills in the Sauerland, but you also have to climb along a network bridge.
Things are a little more relaxed on the mini golf course. At least if you’re good at losing.
The summer toboggan run in Winterberg is suitable for those who are looking for a variety of leisure activities in addition to a summer toboggan run in Germany.

The Fort Fun Adventure Land in Sauerland offers you particularly long driving fun. With a length of 1,300 meters, the Trapper Slider is the longest summer toboggan run in NRW that is located in an amusement park.
While your hairstyle is being messed up in several circles, you seem to automatically nod in the affirmative when you seesaw up and down through the many jumps in a supple but spirited manner.
Lean back in one of the steep curves and enjoy the descent down the summer toboggan run at Fort Fun.
In addition to the summer toboggan run with a separate entrance, the amusement park with a western theme offers you even more to discover: child-friendly roller coasters, wild water rides and overhead swings, the Wild Eagle hang glider in particular attracts numerous visitors to the adventure park.

Summer toboggan run in the Sternrodt adventure mountain
The rail-guided sleds on the Sternrodt adventure mountain in Sauerland even let you plow through hard snow.
With a top speed of up to 45 km/h, it is one of the fastest summer toboggan runs in Germany. Even if the toboggan run in Olsberg covers an average difference in altitude of 90 meters, it pushes you properly into the track. A jump and seven banked turns do the rest of the jolting work.
The summer toboggan run is particularly safe. After only 12 meters braking distance, your sled is rock solid.
Children over the age of 10 may ride the route unaccompanied. Adults especially enjoy the evening tobogganing, which takes place in the warm summer months.
Until 9 p.m. you can ride as often as you like for a small fee. The route is illuminated by floodlights, while the spruce forest around you is slowly shrouded in darkness.

The classic bob run is 1,200 meters long and sends you through 13 steep curves and four tunnels.
Since the spruce racer is gaining speed, there is hardly any time left to look at the rhododendron alley that runs parallel to the toboggan run.
However, you can enjoy the view of the beautiful amusement park on the 400-meter-long ascent to the mountain station.
If you and your children are not just looking for wild driving pleasure, you can propose your way to the exit in the hedge maze. Or you can work out on the climbing volcano.
The wild animals in the park are particularly popular. You can experience wolves, otters and raccoons in natural surroundings.

Alpine Coaster – summer toboggan run at the Kolbensattel in Oberammergau
Most of the summer toboggan runs in Bavaria have to stop operating when it rains because braking on the slippery slopes would be too dangerous.
The Alpine Coaster in Oberammergau is on rails like a roller coaster and has magnetic brakes that bring the sled to a safe stop even when it is wet.
The attraction is not only the longest weatherproof summer toboggan run in Bavaria with magnetic brakes, but worldwide.
After you have been comfortably transported from the valley to the mountain station with the Kolbensattel cable car and have looked at the beautiful mountain panorama in peace and quiet, you can prepare yourself for a stormy descent.
On a route of 2600 m you go through an impressive 73 curves, 7 waves and 9 jumps down to the valley.
While many other summer toboggan runs run idyllically on the ground between blooming flowers, the Alpine Coaster sometimes even runs 4 m above the ground. Incidentally, this is also very nicely overgrown in Oberammergau.
If the top speed of 40 km/h is too much for you, you can easily brake using the lever on both sides.
No comparable toboggan run stops as quickly, reliably and reliably as the Alpine Coaster with its magnetic brakes.
The Alpine Coaster lets your body pump a good portion of adrenaline through your veins and is rightly one of the best summer toboggan runs in Bavaria and the entire federal territory. But if you would like to go even higher, you can work out on the climbing course on the Kolbensattel.
The saddest thing about a ride on the summer toboggan run – the journey is always over far too quickly.

It is without question one of the most popular summer toboggan runs in Germany simply because of the long ride time of 5 to 10 minutes (depending on riding style).
A chairlift takes you to the mountain station at an altitude of 2780 m, before you catapult yourself at high speed through 68 curves and a 430° gyroscope.
If you go too fast during the fast ride, you will be automatically slowed down to 40 km/h.

Take a look at the longest summer toboggan run in Bavaria for yourself and experience why it is also one of the most popular runs.

At the foot of the Blomberg in Bad Tölz, Bavaria, you can let off steam on two toboggan runs.
The toboggan run called Blomberg Blitz, which can be used all year round, is particularly popular. After the cable car has transported you to the starting point, you thunder down the 1300 m long track.
Since the cars are guided on steel rails, nothing jerks uncontrollably and you can concentrate fully on targeted acceleration and, if you want, on braking.
The weatherproof sleds can not only drive in the rain, but also protect you from the wet with an optionally attachable acrylic glass hood.
6 banked curves, 1 roundabout, 1 twister and 5 waves provide plenty of variety when you reach speeds of up to 40 km/h.
Every Saturday you can even walk the illuminated route until 10:00 p.m.
These characteristics make the Blomberg Blitz one of the most popular summer toboggan runs in Bavaria.
The Blomberg Classic is more traditional. The 1300 m long summer toboggan run has 41 chicanes ready for you and will really upset you with 17 steep curves.

The Grafenau summer toboggan run is located right next to the Bavarian Forest, which is also one of the most impressive national parks in Germany.

Summer toboggan run in the Pleinfeld adventure park
The summer toboggan run in the Pleinfeld adventure park doesn’t stop behind the mountain because there’s a lot of jerking when you dash down the piste in the fast-paced sports sled.
But precisely because every bump in the terrain is transferred directly to the sleds, which are very close to the bottom of the steel track, the ride becomes really enjoyable.
However, there is no need to be afraid of being thrown off the track in one of the curves.
The centrifugal force acting on you will safely push you into the track.
It doesn’t matter how tall or old the passenger is. Really everyone has fun on one of the two 500m long summer toboggan runs.
The summer toboggan run in the heart of Bavaria is not the only attraction in the Pleinfeld adventure park. There is a conveyor belt for transport to the top.
In Willingen there is also the lagoon pool in Willingen, one of the best adventure pools in Hesse and the wildlife and leisure park in Willingen, one of the most beautiful animal parks in Hesse.
